Help us raise money at Waitrose and Lincolnshire Co-op

LRSN has been selected by Waitrose to be a Community Matters charity and by the Lincolnshire Co-op to be a Community Champion!

Applications to both stores proved successful, so shoppers will be able to help us raise funds, this spring.

Kicking off for the month of March, LRSN will be one of the green token Community Matters charities at the Waitrose Lincoln store. Please remember to put your green token in our "bin" when you shop there. We will receive a proportion of £1000 depending on how many tokens are deposited for us, so the more the merrier! Please tell your friends and family and help us spread the word on social media in the run-up to our in-store fundraising at Lincoln.

LRSN will be featured in the Heckington and Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire Co-op stores from Sunday 8 March to Saturday 6 June 2020. The main fundraising comes from Co-op members – every time a member shops and uses their dividend card, a donation will go to their local Community Champions. In addition, money is added to the pot from carrier bag sales, collection boxes, event days and colleague fundraising.

At the Woodhall Spa store, LRSN will be joint Community Champions with the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum and at Heckington, we’ll share the donations with the Great Hale Newsletter. Based on previous fundraising, the Co-op anticipates that each Community Champion will receive between £500 to £1000. Each week a new fundraising total will be displayed on the Community Champions board in branches, so you can keep updated with how much has been raised so far.

There may be the opportunity to promote LRSN and assist with store fundraising, so we’ll be mobilising our volunteers nearer the time. So, don’t forget your dividend card and whenever you can, shop at the Heckington and Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire Co-op stores – every little helps!
