Let's get cooking with Riseholme!

The staff and students at Riseholme College have come up with a novel way to raise funds for us.

They've launched the Field 2 Fork Fundraising Challenge to take advantage of everyone's new #Lockdowncooking skills and utilise social media to spread the word that LRSN is here to help. The website says:

Here at Riseholme College, we’re always looking into new ways to support our farming community, which is why we are running the Field to Fork Fundraising Challenge to help raise funds for the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN).

We’re asking you to:

  • Cook a sweet or savoury dish using only 5 ingredients
  • Donate £5.00 (or any amount) to LRSN Just Giving page
  • Nominate five friends/family members to do the same.

Upload your image to our Facebook page or tag us in posts on your own page using @riseholmecollege so we don’t miss them! You can also tag us on Twitter @riseholmecampus, Instagram @riseholmecol, and LinkedIn @riseholmecollege.

Bill Meredith, Chief Executive and Principal of the college said: “LRSN is a fantastic volunteer-led organisation. We are delighted to support LRSN and the rural communities that they work with during these challenging times.

“We hope the Field to Fork Fundraising Challenge will bring together communities and we cannot wait to see the sweet or savoury dishes you make.”
