Join us for the LRSN AGM and Charity Auction
This year's LRSN Reception, AGM and Charity Auction are being held on Monday 29 October at the Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground at 6.30pm.
As in previous years, this enjoyable occasion aims to raise funds and raise our profile amongst friends old and new. The event begins with the drinks reception at 6.30pm, a chance to network with colleagues from the farming community around the county. This is followed by the Annual General Meeting and guest speaker at 7.30pm
This year our guest speaker is Matt Caldicott, deputy chief officer of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs. Matt’s background is in the voluntary sector, and having previously worked for the Farming Community Network, he joined NFYFC in 2016. He is particularly interested in helping young people explore their gifts and abilities then applying them to a leadership context. No doubt he will provide us with a thought-provoking and interesting theme for the evening.
Rounding off the event is the much-anticipated charity auction, this year it is led by Lincolnshire’s High Sheriff, local rural chartered surveyor and agricultural valuer, Ian Walter, senior partner of JH Walter. The charity auction is one of our major fund-raising activities in the year and promises to be great fun. There are already some interesting and novel auction prizes promised, so come along and don’t miss out!
Please let us know that you're able to be with us and join us in what promises to be a fun-filled evening. You can email your attendance to Sophie.Dunn@lrsn.co.uk or complete the reply slip, attached.
We look forward to seeing you there.
